Network Marketing A Plan For Success

Saturday, February 27th, 2010

Copyright (c) 2010 Amy Matteson

Have you ever wondered why some people achieve their goals and objectives much faster than others despite not being as talented as you? While talent is important, those who persevere and achieve success typically have a plan for success. They think through contingency plans well before issues arise. This is a Network Marketing Leaders tip; do you have a plan for success? Let me explain…

Network Marketing Leaders, born or lucky?

A lot of people are capable of outstanding business leadership; the vast majority of people fail in Network Marketing, in fact only 3% make over a thousand dollars per month. The people who walk across the stage and cash the biggest checks each week all have one thing in common, consistency. They are the people who measure growth in incremental gains and clearly understand that the path to greatness is littered with mistakes, challenges and adversity. They consistently measure and improve performance, day after day, which ultimately leads to excellent results. I promise they didn’t get out of bed one day and were all of a sudden Network Marketing Leaders; they studied, failed and learned. Luck has nothing to do with their secret to success and leaders are not born, they are developed through taking action, failing and learning. At the end of the day, the best network marketing leaders actions are in line with their thought process and dreams. They take action. Leaders have a clear mental picture of what they want, why they want it, and how to move closer to the target, a well defined plan for success. A few weeks ago I referenced a post on the mlmbuz.com blog which talks at great length about vision and the importance of understanding the “why” behind your business. You will hear people say they are victims of network marketing scams and get upset when a leader tells them they must make sacrafices to achieve life changing wealth, the network marketing leaders take action, not make excuses. Have you ever heard of someone who is “smoking, just tearing it up” and then 60 days later; this so called network marketing leader is gone? This erratic performance is a result of erratic planning, so the first step to building a network marketing plan for success is to have a clear vision of what you want. Network Marketing Leaders invest an inordinate amount of time thinking, planning and clarifying their goals and targets, as well as mapping out their action plan. Their consistency in performance is the direct result of knowing why it is necessary to perform well and the benefits that will accrue, especially when the going gets tough and pain sets in. Remember, that Consistency is also created by practice, taking action. Leaders are usually perceived as having more talent, and sometimes that might be the true, but the majority of the time talent has little to do with success. Leaders understand the value of investing time and resources needed to achieve success. They know, you either make excuses or make money, but you will not make both. Practice may not make perfect (perfect practice does), it does create consistency in performance which is critical to your network marketing success.

How Online Blogs Can Boost Your Internet Marketing Website Business.

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010

Online Blogs otherwise known as blogs are websites in which items are posted on a regular basis. Blog is a widely used shortened form of weblog. In fact it is an online journal and writing it is known as “blogging”. Individual articles or entries in your blogs are known as “blog posts”. Today online blogs have become a handy tool in the hands of many successful internet marketers who have harnessed the power of these blogs to boost their internet marketing business.

Blogging is indeed one of the best ways of boosting the visibility of your business. By having a blog in your website or by linking your blog to your website you can develop a regular stream of traffic to your website.

By blogging regularly or preferably on a daily basis you will start building a regular readership and followers who will return frequently to read your updates. This is regular traffic for your blog and website.

Unlike in a website, a personal touch and the human element can be brought to play in your posts which will have a better reaction and appreciation from your readership which will in turn bring in potential new customers and clients to your online business.

Search engines love fresh content and regularly updating your blog with keyword optimized quality posts will automatically attract the spiders of the search engines to crawl your blog frequently, index it often and appear in the search results. This will attract other bloggers too to link to your posts thus providing several back links to your blog. The obvious result will be an increase in your link popularity and your page rank.

The online blog can provide to your customers and visitors all the latest information about your products and services, promotions and future plans so that they will keep on visiting your site regularly and frequently.

The advantage of a blog is that it provides the opportunity for your customers and visitors to make their comments on your posts or products thus enabling them to build a rapport with you. It also provides you with the opportunity to take their comments and views seriously and rectify any shortcomings and device ways and means of improving your online business.

Regular posting of blog entries about the theme of your blog, giving regular business advice, reviews about new products and other industry news will automatically generate a lot of traffic. The visitors will before long accept you as an expert in your field of activity and end up as your customers thereby boosting your online business.

Another great feature of online blogs is the RSS (Really Simple Syndication) or Atom feeds. This enables transmission of frequently updated content like blog entries, news headlines and podcasts in a standardized format such as summary of content or the full text instantly to subscribers to your RSS or Atom feeds. Using RSS or Atom feeds makes it possible for your regular visitors to keep up with your blog and internet marketing business in an automated manner which is easier than checking them manually.

There are over one hundred and fifteen million blogs out there in the Internet and most of the bloggers enjoy blogging. On the other hand smart internet marketing webmasters who have realized the advantage of having online blogs are reaping the benefits of having blogs that costs them nothing.

Marketing a New Online Business With Blogs – Blog Your Way to Traffic Heaven!

Friday, February 5th, 2010

If youâ??re reading this blog, chances are, youâ??re a new Internet business owner, looking for marketing advice. Or perhaps youâ??re thinking about joining an MLM program or a cash gifting club and are looking for information on how to market your opportunity. Either way, blogging is one of the one of the best ways for YOU to get going in the online business community.

A blog (short for weblog) is an online journal containing regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Blogs could be about anything, from strictly personal life observations to pop culture gossip.

So why should an Internet entrepreneur, such as yourself, maintain a blog? Itâ??s quite simple. Blogs are a GREAT way for you to increase traffic to your business web-site while creating a trust relationship with your readers. The ultimate goal of your blog should be to increase visibility of your online business web-site, NOT to sell products or services. If you try to â??plug inâ? a sales pitch in the middle of your blog, at the very least, the readers will be put off and leave and at the worst they will flag your blog as spam or inappropriate content. On the other hand, if you provide quality content, a vast majority of your readers will repay you by checking out your opportunity.

The other major added bonus of posting blogs is that they create whatâ??s called â??back-linksâ? to your web-site, which is something that search engine spiders look for when they determine the position of any given web-site in the search rankings. More blogs = higher position in the Google and Yahoo! search engines.

So, how do you write a quality blog? How can you attract prospects to your online business without overtly â??sellingâ? them something? No one likes to be sold to, but everyone likes to buy. The key is to write your blog in a way that doesnâ??t aggressively â??sellâ?, but â??helpsâ? the potential customers make their choice in favor of your product/service/opportunity.

For example, letâ??s say your business is selling electronic cookbooks. You might think that it would be best to write a blog like this:

â??Super-Duper-Crazy-Cookbooks.com is EVERYTHING an aspiring chef could only dream of!

For only $9.99 get HUNDREDS of recipies, including rare dishes from Taiwan and Morocco!

Surprise your guests by whipping up our famous chocolate-strawberry souflee!

Create incredibly tasty meals for the whole family in 20 minutes or less!

You get the idea. There are a couple of major problems with this blog. It sounds a lot like an ad and doesnâ??t provide any educational content, thus it is likely to be flagged or ignored by a majority of readers. Also, it is an extremely weak piece as far as search engine placement because it doesnâ??t have any â??keywordsâ? in it. Keywords and key phrases are what a person types in when theyâ??re searching for things on Google and Yahoo. In the example with cookbooks, they will look for â??the best Indian food cookbookâ?, â??electronic cookbook reviewsâ?, â??best Chinese recipiesâ? and other such key phrases.

Think about what it is that you have to offer that is unique and interesting. Perhaps, using the cookbook example, itâ??s your exotic Ethiopian food recipies. Then, it would be a good idea to target that audience by providing a blog like this:

â??Ethiopian Food â?? Is It The Right Choice For Your Family? Recipies, Cooking Tips etc.

Ethiopian cuisine consists of spicy vegetable and meat dishes, served atop injera, a large sourdough flatbread. Ethiopians eat with their right hands, using pieces of injera to pick up bites of entrées and side dishes. No utensils are used.

Ethiopian cuisine is gaining popularity with families in America: the children are allowed to eat with their hands while getting a highly nutritious meal, filled with lean protein and vitamins.

So, is Ethiopian food the right choice for your family? You decide! Here is an easy-to-prepare recipe of one the most popular Eithiopian dishes, provided by Super-Duper-Crazy-Cookbooks.com:

The recipe is here.

A couple of notes about this blog: it provides something of value for free which is going to be appreciated by many people; it also contains many search engine key phrases such as â??Ethiopian dishâ?, â??Ethiopian Cusineâ? etc., which vastly increase the chances of this blog being found on the Internet.

Once your first entry is written, create an account with as many of the major blog sites as you can. Itâ??s a very good idea to post your blog on at least 6-7 blog sites (you may wish to use a blog disseminator). If you havenâ??t yet joined an online business opportunity, make sure you ask your team leaders for help with blogs. For example, I provide a list of the best blog and article websites to my team along with detailed tips on how to post the blogs without any problems. Remember that the more blogs you write, the more people will go to your website. I would recommend writing a blog every other day for the first month after your start/join an opportunity.

I hope this was helpful to you! I wish you the best of luck in your blogging endeavors.
